Runway Concept & Design
Stage architecture, runway dimensions, set design, and spatial flow — designed around your collection and the story you're telling.
Runway shows that run to the second. From Miami Swim Week to private label launches — we handle full fashion show production: stage design, lighting, sound, model coordination, and bilingual direction.
A fashion show lives and dies by its timing. One model late to the wings, one music cue that doesn't hit, one lighting transition that's off by two seconds — and the entire rhythm collapses. Most production companies that handle corporate events don't have the precision muscle fashion requires.
Miami's hotel ballrooms and South Beach venues each have completely different acoustic profiles. A soundtrack that sounds powerful in one space sounds muddy in another. We survey every venue before we commit to a sound design — not after.
22 looks, 14 models, 3 quick-change stations, a backstage crew of 8, and a 47-minute show window. Fashion show logistics are complex in ways that generic event planning doesn't account for. We build production schedules to the minute.
Miami's fashion buyers and press include significant Spanish-language media. An MC who can't move fluently between both languages, or a show director who can't brief a bilingual crew in real time, creates friction that sophisticated fashion audiences immediately notice.
Stage architecture, runway dimensions, set design, and spatial flow — designed around your collection and the story you're telling.
Venue-specific lighting design that flatters garments and creates atmosphere. Sound design and music direction timed to the runway exactly.
Call times, rehearsal scheduling, quick-change station design, backstage flow, and on-show direction — every model move planned in advance.
Soundtrack curation, DJ briefing, live music integration, and split-second timing coordination between music and runway movement.
English/Spanish MC direction, bilingual backstage communication, and press-facing materials in both languages — built into production from day one.
Camera positions, livestream production, media access zones, and photographer staging — so every angle of the show is captured professionally.
A Miami-based swimwear brand needed a Miami Swim Week runway show at a South Beach hotel. 200 guests, 22 looks, a 4-week production window, and a founder who had never produced a fashion show before. AV Events handled full production — stage design, lighting, sound, model call times, bilingual MC, and media wall. We built a minute-by-minute production schedule, ran one full rehearsal, and showed on time. The show ran to the second. Coverage appeared in two fashion trade publications, and the brand's social content from the event reached 1.8M impressions in the week following the show.
Miami Swim Week is the most important swimwear trade event in the world. We've operated in this ecosystem and understand what buyers, press, and influencers expect from a show produced here.
The Fontainebleau, 1 Hotel, Eden Roc, The W — each South Beach venue has its own production constraints, loading logistics, and union requirements. We know them before we walk in.
Miami Swim Week draws buyers from across Latin America, Europe, and the US. A show produced here carries international weight. Production quality that would pass in a local market doesn't meet the bar here.
Miami has a dense concentration of fashion photographers, videographers, and digital media outlets. We coordinate media access as part of production — not as an afterthought.
Miami is the gateway for Latin American fashion brands entering the US market. We've produced shows for brands from Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina navigating Miami's market for the first time.
Miami's climate supports year-round fashion events — outdoor runways, beachfront presentations, rooftop shows. We know how to produce for every environment Miami offers.
Our production schedules are built minute by minute, not scene by scene. Lighting cues, music transitions, model movements, and guest timing are mapped in advance and rehearsed — so nothing is improvised on show day.
We don't finalize a sound design or a lighting plan without walking the space. Every venue has surprises — acoustics, power limitations, sight-line issues. We find them during prep, not on show day.
For Miami fashion shows, bilingual capability isn't an add-on. MC scripts in both languages, backstage direction in both languages, press materials in both languages — all built from the first draft.
We design the show to be photographed and filmed, not just experienced live. Camera positions, lighting angles, and content zones are planned alongside the runway — because the media output often outlasts the show itself.
